Tubbercurry Golf Club
Competitions. In the 18 Hole Stroke sponsored by Coen’s Service Station, Tubbercurry we had the inform John Brennan first with 68, followed by Michael Larkin on 69 and in third was Bertie Marren with 71.

Captain: Congratulations to Club Captain Brendan Leonard who is a Selector with Tourlestrane GAA Club that claimed the Seniors Championship on Sunday last.

Doubles Competition. In the final of the CP Scanlon sponsored competition Jimmy Walshe/John T. Marren got the better of “old hands” Padraig McDonagh/Tommy Grady in a nail biting thriller with victory clinched by a birdie on the eighteen.

Singles Competition. In the final of the Roger McCarrick sponsored event Christy Wimsey and Paddy Colleran fought a mammoth struggle with the outcome decided on the 19 where Christy claimed the honours.

Fixtures. Please enter you name on the sheet for the very popular Belleek Pottery scramble scheduled for October 2.

Next Sunday we have an 18 Hole Stableford sponsored by Coolaney/Mullinabreena GAA, and we would like to take this opportunity to wish them well in the Intermediate Championship Final on Sunday next.
