Results for recent competitions.

January 22nd to 28th – 9 hole stableford – Sponsored by Tubbercurry Golf Club
Winner was John Lawrence 22 Points, 2 was Francis Henry 19 Points and 3 was Joey Wimsey 18 Points (Back 6)

The club would like to extend sympathy to the family of Ann Keaveney (nee Morahan) 1 Mountain Rd, Tubbercurry, Aunt of Committee member Michael Larkin, who passed away recently.

With the onset of the New Year, why not buy your loved one a locally produced DVD entitled “Tubbercurry Golf - From the start..” that charts the history of the club. This would be a great present and can be purchased from any Committee member at a cost of €20.

You can also purchase a Tubbercurry Golf club gift voucher from Gillispies Sports Shop in Tubbercurry or from Club Captain John O’ Flaherty on (086)-8306174 for your loved one to put towards membership for 2012.

The next big competition is the Super league which will start on Sunday February 5th. The draw will be made this week so if you want to play in the first big competition of the Year, get yourself a partner, sign up and support the club.
