Competitions. Tourlestrane GAA club sponsored last week-end’s 18 Hole Stroke with one of Bunninaden’s finest footballers Padraig McDonagh (69) sneaking in ahead of Tubbercurry’s dual star Mark Burke (71) and another Bunninaden starlet Padraic Scanlon, also with 71.

Societies; Curry GAA took over the course on both Friday ad Saturday for their annual fund raising scramble. Despite the inclement weather on Saturday, they had a huge turnout and generated record profits, which no doubt will help them run the club during 2011.

Junior Boys. Lessons continue for each Monday for the next few weeks. The cost is €5 per lesson, and begin at 6.15pm – it is not too late to attend and all boys who have an interest in taking up this game are invited.
Friday Nights. The Friday evenings informal event is going from strength to strength. Why not play and join your friends and foes for a bit of fun and craic. Food can be organised if somebody wishes to entertain or invite acquaintances, or work colleagues etc.
Pierce Purcell; The first match is scheduled for next Saturday 28th May against old rivals Enniscrone and Captain Pat Cawley has drafted a nice blend of young and not so young for this outing.
Seniors: Joe Kilcoyne’s outfit are out against Ballinrobe on Tuesday 31st May and your support is welcome for this fixture and indeed, for the Pierce Purcell.
High Boys Club. This popular Friday evening competition will commence on the 3 June and run each week through the summer months.
Doubles and Singles Competition. All players are advised the first round of games should be played by the end of the week.
