Competition. Last week we had a 9 Hole stroke competition sponsored by Tom Durcan of Durcan Meats played in far from ideal condition with all four seasons evident on Sunday. The winner was a Tourlestrane’s Christy Wimsey (30), followed by another football legend Gerard Connolly (32) and in third was Christy’s brother Joey on 33 nett.

E.G.M. On Friday night last, the club held an E.G.M to discuss the alterations to the first hole. The meeting was well attended with much praise and appreciation given to the tireless work undertaken by Tommie Grady, John O’Flaherty and John Brennan. The alteration was passed resulting in the closure of the first tee as we known it, and instead the 1st will effectively share an extended tee with the 10th.
Further alterations were approved including the removal of a “spinney” and the closure of two bunkers.

Membership. Kindly pay your membership as soon as possible.

Seniors. The Seniors’ brigade are active again and are holding their competition each Wednesday at 10.30am – contact Pearse Henry for further details.

Course Ranger. We are delighted to announce the Appointment of a Course Ranger, he will be in Place from Monday 14th March, and will be checking all visitors for green fees and indeed, to encourage members to replace divots.

Defibrillator training; The club are organising training (free of charge) on a Defibrillator in April. Any member wishing to undertake this valuable course should contact Gerard Roache @ 0863275327
