Results
In the Christmas Hamper Competition kindly sponsored by the Animal Health Centre, we had a nice mixture of youth and seniors with the wily veteran, AJ Hession (31pts) snatching victory from his old parish foe Tommy Clarke (31pts) followed by a young gun and no stranger to collecting prizes Francis Mulligan (32pts).

The New Year started off on a bright note for John Hewitt from Curry when he claimed victory in the 9 Hole competition on New Years’ day.

Winter League
The final of the Winter League sponsored by the CMD Training Institute is scheduled for 30 January (weather permitting) and we urge all teams to complete their final round – contact your captain for further details.

Captain’s Communication
Over the coming days you will receive a letter from the Captain outlining his hopes and aspirations for 2011 plus details of the golf fees for each category of membership.

It is important for the club that all members pay early and in an effort to help we have introduced an easy payment plan where the fees maybe paid over a 4 month period by Standing Order.

The Standing Order Form is included with Brendan’s letter and if you wish to avail of the facility, please have the completed form returned to the Membership Secretary, Porrick Murray (087 2289684) by the 29th January.

Societies
We welcome Groups, Clubs and Societies who wish to avail of our splendid facilities. This is an excellent method to raise finance for your organisation or simply to enjoy a game of golf with your friends and colleagues.
