Results. Last week-ends 18 Hole Stableford sponsored by Value Centre Cash & Carry saw Joe Wimsey claim first with 40 points, second was Course Ranger Tony Grubb, with third going to Maynard O’Boyle.

Ladies President. Congrats to Kathleen Grady on winning the Lady President Breege Walsh’s prize. Padraic McDonagh won the President Prize for men with a magnificent level par round.

Lessons. Junior and Adults lessons continue on Monday 29 – we would encourage both young and old to attend because you will always pick up or learn some little nugget of information that may improve your game.

20 Birthday. Tubbercurry Golf Club was opened in 1991 and to celebrate the twentieth anniversary the Captain and his Committee are organising a number of events over the week-end of 9/10 of September.
On the Friday and Saturday there is Golf Scramble (team of four) – all members are urged to play and you can book the tee time by contacting Ger Roache at 086 3275327.
Friday night will see a reception in the clubhouse where the “Founding fathers”, past Captains, past Presidents and all past and current members are invited to attend for the launch of a DVD of the history of the club – please put this date in your diary as it promises to be a historic night not to mention reminiscing and chat.

Fixtures. On Sunday we have Wehrly Jewellers Sligo sponsoring the 18 Hole Stableford.
From Monday 29 to Friday 2 Sept. there is 9 Hole Stroke (r/e) sponsored by Heineken.
