Competitions. This weekend’s Stroke Competition was kindly sponsored by Councillor Gerry Lundy from Rhue. The two most consistent golfers over the past 6 weeks vied for the top positions with Gerry Connolly (64) stealing in ahead of Damian Cawley (66), and third place going to another handy golfer Bernard Kelly (67).

Beginners. Our esteemed President Billy Kilgannon invites last years Beginners and anybody interested in joining as a Beginner, or otherwise, to the clubhouse to meet the Officers of the club.
This will be an informal gathering where all guests will get to know one another in a relaxed atmosphere with light refreshments served. Please put Wednesday April 27th at 7pm in your diary and don’t be afraid to bring a friend.

Junior Boys; Coinciding with the Easter break, Keith Feehily and Ger Henry have organised a competition for the period April 16th to Ist of May.

Annual Singles & Doubles Competitions. Last call for those who wish to take part in these internal competitions for paid up members.

Membership. We require all prospective members to immediately pay the fees – should any person have difficulties in this regard, please contact Porrick Murray @ 087 2289684 (in strict confidence) who shall put a scheme in place to accommodate you.

Club Hamper. This year, we are indebted to Pauric Noone from Barna Waste who sponsored a Hamper to help in our fundraising activities. Tickets for the draw are for sale in the Clubhouse or from any Committee member

Defibrillator training; There are a few vacancies for the Defibrillator Course at the end of the month – kindly put your name on the sheet or alternatively, phone Gerard Roache @ 0863275327.
